'''Myke Hurley:''' It sits next to my Sky at Night, which reminded me like that is, I know we joked about it, but that is straight up the material name now. It is. Jonathan has confirmed this. Like it is called Sky at Night, which I think is the best. Yep. I'm so happy about that. Yep, absolutely. It's done. They sit next to each other.

'''Myke Hurley:''' But it wasn't all that I bought though. I picked up a couple of small things really.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. So like I knew none of this except like one thing way down the list.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. I kind of just ran around and did a bit of shopping on Sunday afternoon. Uh-huh. So I always take a look at Lisa Anderson. She's always right behind us. But she's got like a bunch of Retro 51s on offer always. And there's always stuff in her collection that I've never seen before. And this time one that I've walked away with is the Retro 51 Tornado Pencil Legal Pad. So it is a tornado. It's in tornado shape. It's not in their usual pencil shape that they do. Like the hex pencil. And the end of it, instead of it just being a colored kind of piece of plastic, disc of plastic, it's an eraser. So it's like a pink eraser. Then the body looks like legal pad. And the mechanical pencil comes out and in by twisting.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' That's kind of perfect. I've never seen that before.

'''Myke Hurley:''' I love it. The twisting mechanism is amazing. You can just twist it back, twist it out and then twist it back. Like just like it's the pen. It's really, really cool. Just the look of it and the mechanism. I'm really kind of fascinated by it. And in the box, they included like six erasers and a bunch of lead. Like pencil lead. So yeah, I love that one. That one like immediately went into my bag. And I was like, well, obviously I paid for it. But I'm like...

'''Myke Hurley:''' I was like, no, this is... I think this... I think she actually picked that one up to show it to me the day before. I think she knew that I would be interested in it. Because I was like, what you got? And she's like, I got the legal pad. Have you seen the legal pad? I was like, no, I have not. Story Supply, who we had on the show last week, their table was next to ours. And especially after hearing Vito's story on the show, I just went over and just bought a bunch of stuff from them. I haven't had time to try these out yet. But I picked up the... I just basically went over there and just picked up a bunch of things that I thought looked really interesting. So I got three sets of notebooks. The Pocket Staple Edition 407, which is this beautiful maroon one with like an embossed cover. The Myke Hawthorne Edition, just because we were talking about that. And there's a really good story behind that.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' And it's a good size. It's a bigger book.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah, it's a bigger size. And it looks awesome, the illustration on the front. And the Pocket Staple Pencil Pusher Edition, which is where Story Supply worked with CW Pencil Enterprise to create a notebook. And it looks awesome. Comes in three great colors and two companies that I really like. So I went and picked those up as well. So I'm looking forward to trying those out. Again, I feel like I maybe didn't pay enough attention to their stuff before. I don't know why. I knew that they existed, but just never looked at it, right? Because I was like, I'm good for paper. But I heard somebody saying, it might have been you, that their paper is super fountain print friendly. It is.

I want to support that company now because they're amazing. And Vito and Gabe are just great people. They were next to us for the whole weekend. Right. Because plus you get that warm feeling because you're helping children as well, right? Children are going to get notebooks because of it. Yeah. So it's great. Yes.

'''Myke Hurley:''' I bought a Dino 2 pens. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I got her a Pilot Metropolitan just for when she eventually breaks her current one. I think she's on to like her fourth. Oh, wow. So I'll just wait. This one's just going to stay, and then she can just rotate it out at the time when it's necessary. Plus, she only ever wants the all black. She's unhappy with anything else. She doesn't want any of the colors, none of the patterns, all black. So that's the thing. I also picked her up a Pilot Kakuna because I want to see what she thinks of the nibs, and it's a fine. And yeah, and I thought this is a relatively cheap pen, and it could be introducing her to something else. So I got one of those. Plus, I thought that she would quite enjoy the winking nib because the nibs got a little wink etched into it, and I thought that she would quite enjoy that.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. And I'd actually like a report back on that. I'd be interested to know what she thinks about that.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. She hasn't tried them yet because I just gave them to it yesterday evening, but I want to see what she thinks of that too. I bought a bottle of JB Pen Flush.

I also bought some, just my last thing, some Pilot Namiki purple cartridges. These Pilot Namiki cartridges are everywhere, right? But I picked up a pack of purple ones when I bought my M90 last year, and I have not been able to find them online anywhere.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. They're not easy to source. They're available. They're just not easy to come across. So when you see them, you should get them. Which is exactly what I did. You just keep running that through the M90, right? That's the ink for that pen, right?

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. I'm using red right now because I ran through all the purple ones. Oh, okay. So I've been using red, but as soon as this red one's out, which is soon, I'm going to be jumping on the purple. Because I would say in the last year, this is my pen that has gotten the most use, without a shadow of a doubt. Gotcha. I've maybe run eight cartridges through this thing, and that's a lot for me. It just depends sitting on my desk, you know? Right. So yeah, I wanted to get some of the purple cartridges again because I really love that ink. It's a great color. Nice and simple. Yep.

This is the first day I felt like, okay, I'm back to normal. Cause yesterday, I mean, Monday was busy after the show. Tuesday was back home. Just getting absolutely, you know, out from under the rubble, you know, if you will, just busy, busy, busy. So I finally got some sleep last night. And, uh, he wanted to do something for us for supporting him for all these years and talking about him and, you know, saying good things about him. He was just a show of, you know, doing something nice for us as, as a thank you for just, you know, helping him out. But what we received was beyond like anything I could have comprehended.
