'''Jim Coudal:''' Spider pilots. Sort of. Should we talk about Ben now? Yeah, yeah. So when we first made Expedition, we were following this British explorer named Ben Saunders. And to become friendly with him online, as one does. And we had supported some of his expeditions. And he was going to go reproduce, redo the Robert Falcon, Scott, and Shackleton expedition on foot. And so we said, well, we'll be involved. We'll make you some notebooks. And we sponsored him for a little bit of sponsorship. And that was where Expedition came from. And interestingly enough, Ben was just here two weeks ago because he's going to become, he's leaving November 19th. He will be the first solo, unsupported trek across Antarctica. To the South Pole from one side, out the other side, 63 days on the ice, all by himself, dragging the sled. No support. No dogs. No food drops or anything. And so we're happy to say that we're going to be supporting him again. So that's a pretty real world. Yeah.

'''Jim Coudal:''' And, but it's not just that. I like to see, like, you know, a wife leaving notes for her husband in his field. Like, I get the story, like, the guy's at work and he keeps all this mileage in there. And he's traveling a lot of time. He opens the page and there's a cute note from his kid or from his wife because they know he'll be looking at the field notes. So I kind of like the littler things, too. Yeah. Yeah.

'''Brian Bedell:''' There's, there's, we find out either accidentally or on purpose from celebrities that use them and that's sort of rewarding. But then you really do just see everyday people using them. That's, I was at Target a few blocks away one time and there was a policeman there, like, who pulled one out to take a note about some product he was looking at. And I was like, oh, stop by the shop sometime. We'll give you some. You know, like, just seeing people. He was like, what? Like, seeing someone using one just walking down the street is more exciting to me than seeing one on TV or something like that. Yeah, that's cool. I like to see them on TV.

'''Jim Coudal:''' Yeah, I don't mind that, I guess. Um, then the other ones that always, we have this, I was talking to Myke earlier, on the inside back cover of every field notes, there's a tiny little line that says, take a picture of how you use your field notes and send it to pages at fieldnotesbrand.com. And that's the only place that line exists. We never talk about it on the site. We never say it, except I just said it in this podcast. But we never say it anywhere. And we get tons and tons of them. And, um, and sometimes they're just, you wanted to know. So here it is. These are, I'm rebuilding this Camaro and this is my, you know, thing. Or whatever. But I love to get ones that somebody's using them on a farm. The way that the inspiration books that Weirwitz came for, the way they were using it. So that's sort of, that's cool. That's satisfying.

'''Brian Bedell:''' And a lot of just great illustrations you see in them. A lot of illustrators do just carry them around and drawing them. So you see a lot of that on Field Nuts and people's Instagram feeds and things like that.
