[[File:Lamy 2000 Complete Set.jpg|right|500px]]The [[Lamy]] 2000 was designed by Gerd Alfred Müller and the fountain pen was released in 1966, followed by the ball point pen in 1968 and the mechanical pencil in 1970. It remains in production today. The 2000 was innovative in its day for its use of a special fiberglass resin, Makrolon, produced by Bayer, for the body of the pen. 
The fountain pen version of the 2000 is the only Lamy fountain pen that is a piston fill pen<ref>[https://unsharpen.com/pen/lamy-2000-fountain-pen/ Unsharpen Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen] </ref>, so thus only takes bottled ink. There is also a mechanical pencil, a ballpoint pen and a four-color ballpoint pen.

===30 Jahre Lamy (1996)===

===Keramik (2006)===

===Red (2013)===
The Red edition of the Lamy 2000 is a pen set customised by Sir Jonathan Ive and Marc Newson. It sold for US$25,000 at the (RED) charity auction on 23 November 2013. ===Black Amber 50th Anniversary (2016)===
2016 celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Lamy 2000, and with it a special edition of the 2000. Based on the [[#Metal|Stainless Steel]] 2000, this was a new color for the stainless steel 2000. Available as a Ballpoint, Rollerball or Fountain Pen, with a ''Lamy 50th'' engraving to denote the special edition.

===Taxus===
